Full transcription of the famous Jojo Mayer's performance at the Modern Drummer Festival, London, 2005, over his tune "Jabon". 

A great study for Drum'N Bass style and vocabulary. This transcription will also help you technically (push-pull technique required on the left hand) and with endurance. 

TRANSCRIPTION: VINNIE COLAIUTA "ACTUAL PROOF" SOLO

Transcription of Vinnie Colaiuta soloing over Herbie Hancock's tune "Actual Proof". This transcription is great for polyrhythms and fusion vocabulary. 

TRANSCRIPTION: LARNELL LEWIS OVER "LINGUS" 

Transcription of Larnell Lewis comping the famous "Lingus" solo improvised by the organ legend Cory Henry. Great practice for up tempo grooves, independence, and a mix between Gospel, Funk, and Latin vocabulary. 

TRANSCRIPTION: DAVE GROHL "PLAY" (full transcription)

This is a 30 pages book with the entire drum transcription of the album "Play" composed and performed by Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters). "Play" is a suite imagined in 3 parts, played with 3 different drumkits. Dave Grohl's performance is absolutely astonishing in it. This book is great to learn the piece, study Dave's vocabulary, his sense of construction, get into his sound and ideas. "Play" is a legendary album for rock drumming. 

TRANSCRIPTION: MARIO DUPLANTIER "DRUM SOLO 2019" 

Full transcription of Gojira's drummer Mario Duplantier playing a studio version of his drum solo 2019. This is a great practice for rock/metal vocabulary, and a great example of a very well architected modern drum solo. Mario Duplantier is one of today's top metal drummer. 

TRANSCRIPTION BOOK: "50 LICKS BY MARIO DUPLANTIER" 

This is an entire book with 50 transcriptions of Gojira's drummer Mario Duplantier. 24 pages. This includes grooves, fills, Gojira's songs excerpts, and solo ideas by Mario. Bonus: different practice exercises that Mario posted  over the years. Amazing resources for any rock/metal drummer !

TRANSCRIPTION: ERIC HARLAND OVER "ISABELLA MEETS WALLY"

Transcription of Eric Harland comping for pianist Aaron Goldberg over his song "Isabella Meets Wally'. This is a great example of how to accompany over a medium-swing Blues form. The transcription goes up to the bass solo at 2:50.
