WHY US ?

Three reasons to choose Drums Instruction :

You can choose Drums Instruction for three simple reasons:

  • Our best methods

  • Our best location (Times Square, Manhattan)

  • Our high results of success

Our Methods

Our unique method is based on a 15 years experience of our drum teacher Raphaël Pannier.

After some strong classical studies in France, and graduating from Berklee College of Music and Manhattan School of Music, he combined a method inspired by the best teachers he met on the planet.

We value passion, motivation, personality, and difference.

NYC Drums Academy will teach you many different styles of music (jazz, pop, rock, hip-hop, funk, latin, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, and more), many different approaches on the instrument, in order for you to develop your own way to play, express yourself, and feel the greatest pleasure on the band stand.

Our topics include: technique (hand, foot, sticks and brushes), music styles, independence, coordination, sight-reading, time control, preparation to auditions and exams, transcribing, solo development, memory, repertoire, history, music business and professionalism.

Our Location

Our High Level of Success

In the past, many of our students achieved success thanks to our help.

Some of them played great concerts or recitals.

Some entered great schools such as:

  • Manhattan School of Music (both pre-college and college level)

  • The Juilliard School

  • Berklee College of Music

Some became professionals.

Some improved on a personal level thanks to our brain development exercises.
